Lee Junghoon is a South Korean photographer and visual artist. He was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1975 and has been taking photographs since he was a child. He studied photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and graduated in 1998.

Lee Junghoon's work focuses on capturing the beauty of everyday life, often featuring people and places that are overlooked or forgotten. His photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.

In addition to his photography, Lee Junghoon is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several short films that have been screened at international film festivals such as Cannes Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival. His films often explore themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia.

Lee Junghoon's work has earned him numerous awards including the Grand Prize at the Seoul International Photography Festival (2005), Best Short Film Award at Cannes Film Festival (2007), and Best Documentary Award at Busan International Film Festival (2009). He currently lives and works in Seoul where he continues to create stunning photographs that capture moments of beauty from everyday life.
