Lauretta Suter is a Swiss photographer and visual artist who has been creating stunning images for over two decades. Born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1971, she studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne. After graduating, she moved to Berlin where she worked as a freelance photographer for several years before returning to Switzerland.

Throughout her career, Lauretta has explored a variety of photographic genres including portraiture, documentary, landscape and still life. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. She has also published several books of her photographs including “The Swiss Alps” (2005) and “The World Through My Eyes” (2009).

In addition to her photography, Lauretta is also an accomplished painter and sculptor. Her paintings have been featured in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe while her sculptures have been displayed at various public spaces throughout Switzerland.

Lauretta’s work is characterized by its strong sense of composition and its ability to capture the beauty of everyday life. She often uses natural light to create stunning images that evoke emotion and tell stories about the people and places she photographs. Her work has earned her numerous awards including the Swiss Photo Award (2006) and the Prix de la Photographie Paris (2008).
