Lauren Dukoff is an American photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her intimate portraits of musicians, actors, and other celebrities.
Dukoff was born in Los Angeles in 1982. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where she studied photography and film. After graduating in 2004, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in photography.
Dukoff's work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Rolling Stone, The New York Times Magazine, and Vanity Fair. She has photographed a wide range of celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Drake, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber. Her work has also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the Saatchi Gallery in London.
In addition to her photography work, Dukoff has directed music videos for artists such as The Black Keys and The Kills. She also directed a feature-length documentary about the band Warpaint titled "The Making of Warpaint".
