Kong Yong Gyu is a South Korean photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1975, Kong Yong Gyu developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at a young age. After graduating from high school, he attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts where he studied photography and film.

Kong Yong Gyu's work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He is known for his unique style of photography which often combines elements of traditional Korean culture with modern techniques. His work often focuses on themes such as nature, urban life, and human relationships.

Kong Yong Gyu has won numerous awards for his work including the Grand Prize at the International Photography Awards in 2008 and the Grand Prize at the Seoul International Photo Festival in 2009. He has also been featured in several books about Korean photography including "The Best of Korean Photography" and "Korean Photographers: A New Generation".

Kong Yong Gyu currently lives and works in Seoul where he continues to capture stunning images that reflect his unique vision of the world around him.
