Kenneth Cappello is an American photographer, director, and creative director. He is best known for his work in the music industry, having photographed and directed music videos for some of the biggest names in the business.
Cappello was born in New York City and grew up in a creative family. His father was a photographer and his mother was an artist. From a young age, he was exposed to art and photography, which inspired him to pursue a career in the field.
Cappello attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he studied photography and film. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for magazines such as Rolling Stone, Spin, Vibe, GQ, and Vanity Fair. He also worked as a fashion photographer for brands such as Nike and Adidas.
In addition to his work as a photographer, Cappello has directed music videos for artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 and more. He has also directed commercials for brands such as Apple Music and Beats by Dre.
