Kei Ogata is a Japanese photographer and visual artist based in Tokyo. He is known for his unique and creative approach to photography, often combining elements of traditional Japanese art with modern digital techniques.

Ogata began his career as a freelance photographer in the early 2000s, shooting for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Japan, Harper's Bazaar Japan, and Elle Japan. He has also collaborated with numerous fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Gucci.

In addition to his commercial work, Ogata has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and culture. His series “Tokyo Street Life” captures the vibrant energy of the city’s streets through candid portraits of its inhabitants. His “Kimono Project” explores the traditional Japanese garment through a modern lens, while his “Urban Landscapes” series captures the beauty of Tokyo’s urban landscape from an aerial perspective.

Ogata has exhibited his work in galleries around the world, including Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, The Photographers' Gallery in London, and The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. He has also been awarded numerous awards for his photography, including the International Photography Award (IPA) for Best Series in 2017 and 2018.
