Josh Olins is a British fashion photographer who has been working in the industry since the early 2000s. He is known for his unique and often surreal style of photography, which often features unexpected juxtapositions and dream-like scenes.
Born in London in 1979, Josh Olins grew up surrounded by art and creativity. His father was a painter and his mother was a sculptor, so it was no surprise when he developed an interest in photography at an early age. After studying photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, he began his career as an assistant to renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight.
In 2004, Josh Olins made his debut as a professional photographer with a series of photographs for the British magazine Dazed & Confused. Since then, he has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in fashion including Vogue, W Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ. He has also shot campaigns for major brands such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Calvin Klein.
In addition to his commercial work, Josh Olins has also published several books of his own photography including "The Way We Live Now" (2008) and "The Way We See Now" (2012). His work has been exhibited around the world including at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the International Center of Photography in New York City.
Josh Olins continues to push boundaries with his unique vision and creative approach to fashion photography. He currently lives and works in London where he continues to create stunning images that capture both beauty and emotion.
