Jordan Hemingway is a British photographer and artist based in London. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.

Hemingway was born in London in 1985. He studied photography at the University of Westminster, graduating with a BA in Photography and Video Arts in 2008. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for magazines such as Dazed & Confused, i-D, and Vogue.

In 2010, Hemingway was commissioned by the British Fashion Council to document London Fashion Week. His work from this project was exhibited at Somerset House and published in the book ‘London Street Style’. In 2011 he was awarded the ‘Young Photographer of the Year’ award by the Association of Photographers.

Hemingway has since gone on to collaborate with some of the world’s leading fashion brands including Nike, Adidas, Burberry, and Louis Vuitton. His work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, and The Financial Times Magazine. He has also exhibited his work internationally at galleries including Tate Modern and Saatchi Gallery in London; Foam Museum in Amsterdam; and Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm.

In addition to his commercial work, Hemingway is also an avid street photographer who captures candid moments on the streets of London. His street photography has been featured on Instagram accounts such as @everydaylondoners and @streets_storytelling.

Hemingway continues to live and work in London where he is currently working on a new series of photographs exploring themes of identity and belonging within contemporary British culture.
