Jonty Davies is a British photographer and filmmaker based in London. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.
Davies began his career as a freelance photographer in the early 2000s, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Dazed & Confused. His work has been featured in numerous publications including The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Financial Times. He has also shot campaigns for brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Levi's.
In addition to his commercial work, Davies has also produced several short films and documentaries. His first feature-length documentary was released in 2018 and focused on the lives of young people living in London's East End. The film was critically acclaimed and won several awards at international film festivals.
Davies' work has been exhibited around the world including at the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has also been awarded several prestigious awards including the Sony World Photography Award for Best Documentary Photographer (2018) and the Magnum Photos 30 Under 30 Award (2019).
