Jonas Lindstroem is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. He is best known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.
Lindstroem began his career as a freelance photographer in the early 2000s, shooting for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, and The New York Times Magazine. He has also worked with numerous brands including Nike, Adidas, and H&M.
In addition to his commercial work, Lindstroem has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and belonging. His series “The Other Side” was exhibited at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg in 2017. In 2019 he released his first book “The Way We Are” which features a collection of photographs from his travels around the world.
Lindstroem’s work has been recognized with several awards including the Hasselblad Masters Award in 2018 and the International Photography Award in 2020. He is currently represented by galleries in Sweden, Germany, and the United States.
