Johnson Hartig is an American fashion designer and creative director best known for his work with the fashion label Libertine. Born in Los Angeles, California, Hartig grew up in a creative family and was exposed to art and design from a young age. He attended the Otis College of Art and Design, where he studied fashion design. After graduating, he worked as a freelance designer for various labels before launching his own label, Libertine, in 2001.
