Johnson Hartig is an American fashion designer and creative director best known for his work with the fashion label Libertine. Born in Los Angeles, California, Hartig grew up in a creative family and was exposed to art and design from a young age. He attended the Otis College of Art and Design, where he studied fashion design. After graduating, he worked as a freelance designer for various labels before launching his own label, Libertine, in 2001.

Hartig's designs are known for their bold colors and eclectic mix of vintage and modern elements. He often incorporates vintage fabrics into his designs, giving them a unique look that has become synonymous with the Libertine brand. His designs have been featured in numerous magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and W Magazine. He has also collaborated with celebrities such as Rihanna and Katy Perry on their clothing lines.
