Johan Sandberg is a Swedish photographer and filmmaker who has been working in the industry for over 20 years. He is best known for his fashion and portrait photography, which has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, and Elle.
Sandberg was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1975. He began his career as a photographer at the age of 16 when he started taking pictures of his friends and family. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Gothenburg where he studied photography and film.
In 2000, Sandberg moved to London to pursue a career in photography. He quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar. His work has also been featured in advertising campaigns for brands such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Dior.
In addition to his commercial work, Sandberg has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity and gender roles. His work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including The Photographers' Gallery in London and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Sandberg currently lives and works between London and Stockholm with his wife and two children.
