Jiang Kun is a Chinese photographer and visual artist based in Beijing. He is best known for his unique and captivating images of everyday life in China.
Born in Beijing in 1982, Jiang Kun developed an interest in photography at an early age. He began taking pictures of his family and friends, and soon realized that he had a talent for capturing the beauty of everyday life. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing to study photography.
During his time at the academy, Jiang Kun developed a passion for street photography. He traveled around China, capturing candid moments of people going about their daily lives. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and Time Magazine.
In addition to his street photography, Jiang Kun also creates stunning landscape photographs. His work often features sweeping vistas of rural China, as well as urban scenes from bustling cities like Beijing and Shanghai. He has also created several series focusing on specific themes such as traditional Chinese architecture and the effects of modernization on Chinese culture.
Jiang Kun's work has been exhibited around the world, including shows in New York City, London, Tokyo, and Paris.
