Irina Shestakova is a Russian photographer and visual artist based in Moscow. She is best known for her stunning black and white photography, which often captures the beauty of everyday life.

Shestakova was born in Moscow in 1985 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. From an early age, she was drawn to photography, taking pictures of her family and friends with her father's old camera. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, where she studied photography and visual arts.

Shestakova's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Her photographs have also been published in magazines such as Vogue Russia, Harper's Bazaar Russia, Elle Russia, GQ Russia, Esquire Russia, and many others.

In addition to her photography work, Shestakova is also an accomplished filmmaker. Her short films have been screened at film festivals around the world including Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival. She has also directed several music videos for Russian artists such as Zemfira and Leningrad.
