Hyun Woo Min is a South Korean photographer and visual artist. He was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1975 and has been living and working in the city ever since.
Min began his career as a photographer in the late 1990s, when he started to take pictures of everyday life in Seoul. His work often focuses on the city's urban landscape, capturing its unique architecture and street scenes. He has also documented the lives of people living in the city, from street vendors to homeless people.
Min's work has been exhibited widely both nationally and internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, and the Seoul Museum of Art. He has also been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Time Magazine, and The Guardian.
In addition to his photography work, Min is also an active member of several art collectives such as The Seoul Collective and The Korean Photographers Association. He is also a professor at Hongik University where he teaches photography classes.
