Harri Peccinotti (born 1938) is a British photographer and graphic designer best known for his iconic fashion photography. Born in London, Peccinotti studied at the Central School of Art and Design before beginning his career as a freelance photographer in the 1960s. His work was heavily influenced by Pop Art, and he quickly gained recognition for his bold, vibrant images.
Peccinotti's most famous works are his photographs for the British magazine Nova, which he shot from 1966 to 1975. His images featured models in bright colors and unusual poses, often with props such as ladders or chairs. He also worked with other magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle.
In addition to his photography work, Peccinotti also designed album covers for musicians such as David Bowie and Roxy Music. He also created posters for films such as The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
Peccinotti has been honored with numerous awards throughout his career, including the Royal Photographic Society's Centenary Medal in 2003. His work has been exhibited around the world, including at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
