Haris Farsarakis is a Greek photographer and visual artist based in Athens. He has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.
Farsarakis’s work is characterized by its strong sense of composition, color, and light. His photographs often explore themes of identity, memory, and place. He has traveled extensively throughout Greece and Europe to capture his images, which often feature landscapes, architecture, and people.
Farsarakis’s work has been exhibited at galleries in Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Japan. His photographs have also been featured in publications such as National Geographic Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. In addition to his photographic work he also produces video art installations that explore similar themes as his photography.
Farsarakis is a member of the Greek Photographers Association (GPA) and the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP). He holds a degree in Photography from the University of Athens School of Fine Arts.
