Hanna Moon is a Korean-born, London-based photographer and visual artist. She is best known for her dreamy, surrealist images that explore themes of identity, femininity, and the human condition.
Moon was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1988. She moved to London in 2006 to pursue a degree in photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. After graduating with honors in 2010, she began working as a freelance photographer and visual artist.
Moon's work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. Her photographs have also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
In addition to her photography work, Moon has also directed music videos for artists such as FKA Twigs and Sampha. She has also collaborated with fashion brands such as Nike and Adidas on campaigns that explore themes of identity and self-expression.
