Giulio Rusticelli is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Rome. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.
Born in Rome in 1975, Rusticelli developed an interest in photography at a young age. He began taking pictures of his family and friends, and soon realized that he had a passion for capturing moments on film. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome to study photography.
During his time at the Academy, Rusticelli developed a unique style of photography that combined elements of fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography. His work often focused on capturing the beauty of everyday life and exploring the relationship between people and their environment. After graduating from the Academy, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.
In addition to his commercial work, Rusticelli has also produced several personal projects over the years. His most notable project was a series of photographs taken during a trip to India in 2006. The photographs captured the beauty of India's culture and landscapes while also exploring themes such as poverty and inequality. The series was exhibited at several galleries around Europe and was later published as a book titled "India: A Journey Through Time".
Rusticelli's work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Italia, GQ Italy, Marie Claire Italy, Elle Italia, L'Uomo Vogue Italy, Vanity Fair Italy, Glamour Italy, Corriere della Sera Magazine Italy among others. He currently lives and works in Rome where he continues to produce stunning images that capture moments of beauty both near and far away from home.
