Giasco Bertoli is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. He is best known for his surrealist photography, which often features dreamlike landscapes and abstract compositions.
Bertoli was born in Milan in 1975 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. His father was a painter, while his mother was a sculptor, so it's no surprise that he developed an interest in the visual arts from an early age. He began experimenting with photography at the age of 15, and soon after he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan to study photography and video art.
After graduating from the Academy, Bertoli began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, GQ Italy, Elle Italia, Marie Claire Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair Italia, and many others. He has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including the Palazzo Reale di Milano, the Triennale di Milano, the Fondazione Prada in Venice, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT).
Bertoli's work is characterized by its surrealist aesthetic which often combines elements of nature with abstract shapes and colors to create dreamlike images.
