Francisco Fonteyne is a renowned Belgian photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. Born in Brussels in 1971, Francisco developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 12. After studying photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he went on to work as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.
In 2000, Francisco released his first book of photographs, entitled “The World Through My Eyes”. This collection of images captured the beauty and diversity of cultures around the world, from India to South America. His work has since been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
In addition to his photographic work, Francisco is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several short films and documentaries that have been screened at film festivals across Europe and North America. His most recent project is a feature-length documentary about his travels through India entitled “The Journey Home”.
Francisco’s passion for photography continues to drive him to explore new places and capture unique moments that tell stories about our world today. He currently lives in Brussels with his wife and two children.
