Francesco Bertola is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. He has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Bertola's work is characterized by a strong sense of composition, often featuring bold colors and geometric shapes. His photographs explore themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia, often focusing on the relationship between people and their environment. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America to capture his images.

Bertola's work has been featured in numerous solo exhibitions at galleries such as Galleria Carla Sozzani in Milan, Galerie VU' in Paris, and The Photographers' Gallery in London. His photographs have also been included in group exhibitions at institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

In addition to his photographic practice, Bertola is also a professor at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan where he teaches courses on photography and visual communication. He is also a member of the Italian Association of Professional Photographers (AIF).
