Framn Rezende is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist based in São Paulo. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, street, and fine art photography.
Rezende began his career as a photographer in the late 1990s, when he was still a student at the University of São Paulo. He quickly developed an interest in documentary photography and began to explore the streets of São Paulo, capturing everyday life in the city. His work soon gained recognition from local galleries and publications, and he was invited to participate in several group exhibitions.
In 2004, Rezende released his first solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo. The exhibition featured a series of photographs taken during his travels around Brazil, as well as images from his home city. The exhibition was well-received by critics and established Rezende as one of Brazil's leading photographers.
Since then, Rezende has continued to exhibit his work around the world, including shows in London, New York City, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and Los Angeles. His photographs have been featured in numerous publications such as National Geographic Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. In addition to his photographic work, Rezende has also directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world.
Rezende's work is characterized by its vivid colors and strong sense of composition. He often uses long exposures to capture fleeting moments that would otherwise be lost forever. His photographs are often imbued with a sense of nostalgia for a past that can never be recaptured or relived again.
