Florian Mair is a German photographer and visual artist based in Berlin. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.

Mair was born in Munich in 1983 and grew up in the Bavarian countryside. He studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, where he developed an interest in documentary photography. After graduating, he moved to Berlin to pursue a career as a professional photographer.

Mair's work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, GQ, and The New York Times Magazine. His photographs have also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

In addition to his commercial work, Mair has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity, memory, and belonging. His most recent project is titled "The Unseen," which focuses on the hidden stories of people living on the margins of society.

Mair's work has been recognized with numerous awards including the International Photography Award (IPA) for Best Documentary Series (2015) and the Sony World Photography Award for Best Single Image (2016). He continues to push boundaries with his unique vision and creative approach to photography.
