Florian Bong-Kil is a South Korean photographer and visual artist based in Seoul. He is best known for his unique and captivating images of everyday life in South Korea.

Born in Seoul in 1982, Florian Bong-Kil developed an interest in photography at an early age. He studied photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, where he graduated with a degree in Visual Communication Design. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer, shooting for various magazines and newspapers.

In 2010, Florian Bong-Kil released his first book of photographs titled “The Korean Dream” which featured his unique take on everyday life in South Korea. The book was well received by critics and was praised for its vivid imagery and insight into Korean culture. Since then, Florian has gone on to publish several other books including “The City of Seoul” (2012) and “Seoul Street Photography” (2015).

In addition to his photographic work, Florian has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo. His work has been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Time Magazine, Vogue Japan, and Harper's Bazaar Korea.

Florian Bong-Kil continues to be an influential figure in the world of photography today. His work captures the beauty of everyday life with a unique eye that is both captivating and inspiring.
