Emanuele Fontanesi is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. He has been working in the field of photography since 2006, and his work has been featured in numerous publications, exhibitions, and festivals around the world.

Fontanesi's work focuses on the exploration of the human condition through a variety of mediums, including photography, video, and installation art. His photographs often feature surrealistic elements that explore themes such as identity, memory, and emotion. He has also created several series of photographs that focus on specific topics such as urban landscapes and nature.

Fontanesi's work has been exhibited at galleries and museums around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, Italy; The Photographers' Gallery in London; The Museum of Modern Art in New York City; The National Gallery of Canada; The Centre Pompidou in Paris; and many more. His photographs have also been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, GQ Italia, Marie Claire Italia, Elle Italia, Harper's Bazaar UK, Wallpaper*, and many more.

In addition to his photographic work Fontanesi is also a professor at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) where he teaches courses on photography and visual communication. He is also a member of the Italian Association for Photography (AIF).
