Dirk Seiden Schwan is a German photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing stunning images of nature and wildlife for over two decades. Born in Berlin in 1971, Dirk developed an early passion for photography and filmmaking, which he pursued throughout his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld.

After graduating, Dirk began working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker, traveling around the world to capture stunning images of nature and wildlife. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine, and The Guardian. He has also won several awards for his photography, including the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year award from the Natural History Museum in London.

In addition to his photography work, Dirk is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several documentaries about nature and wildlife conservation, including “The Last Wild Places” (2006) and “The Great Migration” (2009). His films have been screened at festivals around the world and have won numerous awards.
