David Sims

David Sims is a world-renowned British photographer. An avid surfer, when he’s not travelling the world shooting for the world’s top fashion magazines, David can be found hitting the surf in Cornwall, where he lives with his family.

David began his photographic career assisting photographers Robert Erdmann and Norman Watson.

In 1993, 2000 and 2001 Sims signed one-year exclusive contracts to Harper’s Bazaar (USA).

In 1994 he was awarded the Young Fashion Photographer of the Year award by the Festival de la Mode and held his first exhibition in London.

David's clients include important fashion brands such as Jil Sander, Balenciaga, Benetton, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Burberry or Helmut Lang.

At present he works for some of the most influential magazines in the world: W Magazine, L'Uomo Vogue, Vogue Homme International, British Vogue, i-D, Dazed & Confused, etc.
