Costas Avgoulis is a Greek photographer and visual artist based in Athens, Greece. He has been working as a professional photographer since the early 1990s, and his work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world.

Avgoulis’s photography focuses on the human condition, exploring themes of identity, memory, and place. His work often features people from his native Greece, as well as other parts of Europe and the Middle East. He has traveled extensively throughout these regions to capture his images.

Avgoulis’s photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums across Europe, including the Benaki Museum in Athens, the National Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki, and the Photographic Center of Thessaloniki. His work has also been featured in publications such as National Geographic Magazine, Time Magazine, Der Spiegel, Le Monde Magazine, and The New York Times.

In addition to his photography career, Avgoulis is also an accomplished visual artist who works with various mediums such as painting and sculpture. His artwork has been exhibited at galleries throughout Greece and abroad.

Avgoulis is a member of the Hellenic Photographic Society (HPS) and a founding member of the Greek Photographers Association (GPA). He is also an active member of several international photography organizations such as Magnum Photos and World Press Photo.
