Catherine Losing is a British photographer and artist based in London. She is best known for her vibrant and colourful images of everyday life, which often feature people in their natural environment.
Born in London in 1984, Catherine developed an interest in photography from a young age. She studied photography at the University of Westminster, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in 2006. After graduating, she worked as a freelance photographer for several years before establishing her own studio in 2010.
Since then, Catherine has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the UK. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, The Guardian and The Times. She has also exhibited her work at galleries around the world including the Saatchi Gallery and Tate Modern.
Catherine’s work is often described as ‘capturing moments of beauty’ and she has won numerous awards for her photography including the Sony World Photography Award (2014) and the Royal Photographic Society’s International Print Exhibition (2015).
In addition to her photographic work, Catherine is also an active member of the art community. She regularly speaks at events and workshops on topics such as creativity and self-expression through photography. She also works with charities to promote art education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
