Carla Guler is a Turkish-born photographer who has been capturing the beauty of the world for over two decades. She is known for her stunning landscapes, vibrant street scenes, and intimate portraits.
Guler was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1975. She developed an interest in photography at a young age and began taking pictures of her family and friends. After graduating from high school, she moved to London to pursue her passion for photography.
In London, Guler studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She graduated with a degree in photography and began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. Her work quickly gained recognition and she was soon commissioned to shoot for some of the world’s most renowned publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times Magazine.
Guler’s work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Tate Modern in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In addition to her commercial work, Guler has also published several books featuring her photographs including “The World Through My Eyes” (2008) and “The Colors of Life” (2012).
Today Guler continues to travel around the world capturing its beauty through her lens. Her work has been featured on numerous television shows such as National Geographic Explorer and CNN International Newsroom. She currently lives between Istanbul and London with her husband and two children.
