Boo George

Boo George was born in 1981 in County Wicklow, Ireland.

Beginning as an assistant to photographers Julian Broad, Phil Poynter and Bruce Weber, Boo has gone to great lengths to achieve his documentary-influenced fashion imagery. His degree show project saw him spend nine days on a North Sea fishing trawler.

The former assistant to Bruce Weber has shot covers for i-D, Love, L’Uomo Vogue, Teen Vogue, Interview Russia, British Vogue, Arena Homme Plus, and V.

His commercial clients include Giles Deacon, Roksanda Illincic, Pringle, Barneys, Clarks, Louis Vuitton and Ungaro.

He was recognized by Harper's Bazaar as one of the best upcoming photographers in early 2011.
