Bojana Tatarska is a Serbian-born photographer and visual artist based in Belgrade. She has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.
Tatarska's work focuses on themes of identity, memory, and place. She often uses her own family history as a source of inspiration for her photographs, exploring the complexities of personal identity through her images. Her work has been exhibited at galleries and museums across Europe, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna, and the National Gallery of Serbia.
Tatarska's photographs have also been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, Vogue Italia, and Harper's Bazaar. In addition to her photographic work, Tatarska is also an accomplished filmmaker. Her short films have been screened at film festivals around the world, including Cannes Film Festival and Berlinale.
Tatarska holds a degree in photography from the University of Arts in Belgrade. She currently lives and works in Belgrade with her husband and two children.
