From an early age, British born photographer Benjamin Lennox was perfecting his use of color through different mediums such as painting. It was during a one-day class while studying art foundation at the age of 17 that he was able to pick up a camera for the first time and enter a dark room.
One of the last students to be educated in analogue, Benjamin studied photography at the University of the Arts (London), following a 3-year degree course under the tutorage of Mark Lebon.
Throughout the next eight years, Benjamin would travel the globe assisting, working with both film and digital and counts himself lucky to be part of the generation that saw this transition through.
He has honed his use of color, first evident in his paintings, and brought it into the world of photography.
Dazed UK offered Benjamin his first opportunity to publish his work in a high profile magazine. Since then, he has gone on to shoot for 10 Man, Muse, 032c, W, Numero Japan, V Spain, V Man, Vogue Russia, Dazed Japan.
