Bartek Wieczorek is a Polish photographer and visual artist based in Warsaw. He is best known for his unique approach to photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.
Born in 1985, Bartek developed an interest in photography at an early age. He began taking pictures of his family and friends as a hobby, but soon realized that he had a talent for capturing the beauty of everyday life. After graduating from high school, he decided to pursue photography professionally and enrolled in the Academy of Photography in Warsaw.
During his studies at the Academy, Bartek developed a passion for documentary photography. He traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia to capture images of people and places that were often overlooked by mainstream media outlets. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and Vogue Italia.
In addition to his documentary work, Bartek has also become well-known for his fashion photography. His images have been featured in campaigns for major brands such as Nike and Adidas as well as on the covers of magazines like Elle and Harper’s Bazaar. He has also collaborated with some of the world’s top models including Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
Bartek’s work has been exhibited around the world including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. In 2017 he was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award for his contributions to contemporary photography.
