Arik Nepo is an Israeli photographer and visual artist based in Tel Aviv. He is best known for his unique and captivating images of the urban landscape, which often feature a combination of abstract and figurative elements.

Born in Jerusalem in 1982, Nepo grew up surrounded by the city’s vibrant culture and history. From a young age, he was drawn to photography as a way to capture the beauty of his surroundings. After completing his studies at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, he moved to Tel Aviv where he began to pursue photography professionally.

Nepo’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Jewish Museum in New York City, and The Israel Museum in Jerusalem. His photographs have also been published in various magazines such as National Geographic, Time Magazine, and The New Yorker.

In addition to his photography career, Nepo is also an active member of the Israeli art community. He has served as a mentor for aspiring photographers through various workshops and lectures at universities throughout Israel. He is also a founding member of the Israeli Photographers Association (IPA).

Nepo’s work has been praised for its ability to capture both the beauty and complexity of urban life. His photographs are often characterized by their vivid colors and unique perspectives on everyday scenes. Through his work, Nepo hopes to inspire viewers to look beyond what they see on the surface and explore deeper meanings within their environment.
