Aneta Bartos is a Polish photographer and visual artist based in New York City. She is best known for her work exploring the relationship between the human body and its environment.

Bartos was born in Poland in 1982 and grew up in a small town near Krakow. She studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, graduating with honors in 2006. After graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue her career as a photographer.

Bartos has exhibited her work internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Tate Modern in London. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as The New Yorker, The Guardian, and Vogue Italia.

In addition to her photography work, Bartos has also collaborated with fashion designers such as Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs on campaigns for their collections. She has also directed music videos for artists such as Bjork and The xx.
