André Shiliró is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist who has been capturing the beauty of his homeland since the early 2000s. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1975, André developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures of his family and friends at a young age.

In 2003, André moved to Rio de Janeiro to pursue his passion for photography full-time. He quickly established himself as one of the city’s most talented photographers, specializing in street photography and capturing the vibrant energy of Rio’s streets. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and The New York Times.

In addition to his street photography, André has also developed a unique style of portraiture that focuses on capturing the beauty of everyday life in Brazil. His work often features candid shots of people going about their daily lives, as well as more posed portraits that capture the essence of each individual subject.

André’s work has been exhibited around the world, including at galleries in London, Paris, Tokyo, and New York City. He has also received numerous awards for his photography, including the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award in 2018.

Today, André continues to capture the beauty of Brazil through his lens while also teaching workshops on photography and visual art around the world.
