André Schiliró is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist who has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over two decades. Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1971, André developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 12. After studying photography at the University of São Paulo, he began his professional career as a freelance photographer in 1994.
Since then, André has become one of Brazil’s most renowned photographers, with his work appearing in publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and Time Magazine. He has also exhibited his work around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
André’s photographs are known for their vivid colors and unique perspectives on everyday life in Brazil. He often focuses on capturing the beauty of nature and landscapes throughout the country, as well as its people and culture. His work has been praised for its ability to capture both the beauty and complexity of Brazilian life.
