Ana Dias is a Portuguese photographer and visual artist based in Lisbon. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful images that capture the beauty of everyday life.
Dias began her career as a photographer in 2009, when she started taking pictures of her friends and family. She quickly developed an eye for capturing the beauty of everyday moments, and soon began to explore other genres such as fashion, travel, and documentary photography.
In 2012, Dias was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award for her work in fashion photography. This award opened up many opportunities for her to work with some of the world’s leading fashion brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada.
In addition to fashion photography, Dias has also worked on several documentary projects that explore social issues such as poverty and inequality in Portugal. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Portugal, Elle Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine.
Dias’s work has been exhibited around the world including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She has also been featured in several books including “Portraits: A Collection of Photographs by Ana Dias” (2014) and “The World Through My Eyes: A Photographic Journey with Ana Dias” (2016).
