Alex Prager is an American photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her highly stylized, cinematic photographs that explore the human condition. Prager's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Prager was born in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She studied photography at Santa Monica College before beginning her career as a commercial photographer.
