Aleksandar Srdic is a Serbian photographer and visual artist based in Belgrade. He is best known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary and fine art.

Srdic began his career as a photographer in the early 2000s, when he started to document the everyday life of people living in Serbia. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the International Center for Photography in Paris.

In addition to his photography work, Srdic has also created several short films and video installations that explore themes such as identity, memory, and history. His films have been screened at festivals such as Cannes Film Festival and Berlinale.

Srdic's work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Photography Festival in Belgrade (2009), Best Documentary Film at the Sarajevo Film Festival (2010), and Best Short Film at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (2011). He was also awarded a fellowship from The Robert Bosch Foundation for his work on documenting post-war Serbia.

Srdic continues to explore new ways to express himself through photography and film. He is currently working on a new project that focuses on exploring identity through portraiture.
