Aiala Hernando is a Spanish photographer and visual artist based in Madrid. She has been working as a professional photographer since 2009, specializing in fashion, portrait, and documentary photography.
Aiala was born in Madrid in 1985 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. She developed an early interest in photography, which she pursued through her studies at the University of Madrid, where she earned a degree in Fine Arts. After graduating, Aiala began to work as a freelance photographer for various magazines and publications.
In 2012, Aiala was awarded the prestigious Premio Nacional de Fotografía for her series of photographs entitled “The City of Light”. This series explored the beauty of Madrid’s nightlife and its people. Since then, Aiala has continued to explore themes such as identity, memory, and urban life through her photography. Her work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona and the Photographic Center of Catalonia in Barcelona.
Aiala’s work is characterized by its strong sense of composition and use of light to create atmosphere.
