Ahmet Unver is a Turkish photographer and visual artist based in Istanbul. He was born in Istanbul in 1975 and has been taking photographs since he was a child. His work focuses on the human condition, exploring themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time.
Unver studied photography at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul, graduating with a degree in photography and video art. After graduation, he worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers before beginning to focus on his own personal projects.
Unver's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Istanbul Modern Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, and the International Center for Photography in New York City.
