Diane von Furstenberg honored with Exhibition at the Fashion & Lace Museum in Brussels

Belgian fashion designer will be honored with an Exhibition at the Fashion & Lace Museum in Brussels.

Titled 'Woman Before Fashion' the exhibition will be organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Diane Von Furstenberg's brand, and celebrates the history of the iconic wrap dress - a timeless must-have which is today an integral part of the DvF DNA.

Combining art and couture, the unprecedented exhibition will showcase a number of vintage and contemporary interpretations of the wrap dress coming directly from the archives of the Maison Diane von Furstenberg. According to the museum, the event is not a retrospective but a free approach to Diane von Furstenberg's work and a guide to understanding the incredible career of a creative woman who understood women. Through it visitors can understand the designer's specific language of colors and prints applied to her emblematic wrap dress.

The Diane von Furstenberg - Woman Before Fashion will open its doors from April 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024 at the Brussels Fashion & Lace Museum, Rue de la Violette 12, 1000 Brussels.
