Valentino and L'Oreal will work together to develop a new beauty line.
Both brands announced in a joint press release the signature of a worldwide long-term license agreement for the creation, development, and distribution of fine fragrances and luxury beauty under the Valentino brand.
Valentino hopes to reach an even larger audience by using the expertise of L'Oreal, a leader in the beauty industry. The beauty brand will bear the name of Valentino: Maison Valentino. Maison Valentino which was founded in 1960 in Rome holds a unique role in the luxury universe thanks to its long-standing tradition in Haute Couture and the innovative contemporary vision of Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Stefano Sassi, CEO of Valentino, said he is very happy with the new collaboration.'We are very excited to start this new venture together with L'Oreal to further develop our beauty business. The cooperation will be effective as of 1 January 2019, after customary regulatory approvals, if any. Fans can expect to see Valentino x L'Oreal products dropping around that time.
