Dior appoints tennis champion Zheng Qinwen as Global Ambassador

French Luxury Fashion house Dior has announced the appointment of multi-award-winning Chinese tennis champion Zheng Qinwen as its newest Global Ambassador for Maria Grazia Chiuri's collections.

'Zheng embodies the elegance and boldness of Dior's style, femininity in perpetual motion,' Dior said in an official statement.


'...I think it's my pleasure to have Dior with me. Since I was 16 years old, Dior has been one of my favorite brands really. I had nice shooting experience from them. For me, Dior is a very, very high brand, everybody knows. I just am happy to work with them and thanks that they choose me.....,' Zheng said at a press conference in Melbourne.

Born in Hubei Province, Zheng displayed exceptional tennis talent from a young age. In August 2024, she clinched gold in the singles category at the Paris Olympics and currently holds the fifth spot in the Women's Tennis Association rankings. At last years' Australian Open she became the second Chinese woman to reach a Grand Slam singles final.
