Austrian jewelry label Swarovski has tapped American-Dutch-Palestinian model Bella Hadid as its newest ambassador.
To coincide with the news, Swarovski has released a colorful campaign lensed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and conceptualized by Giovanna. According to Swarovski, the range of moods depicted in the campaign showcase the casual versatility of crystals, in line with the current trend of donning vibrant jewelry with everyday attire.
The images feature the latest collections worn by Bella whilst showcasing a range of moods in six different color schemes- White (Harmonia necklace and choker), green (hoop earrings and chain bracelets with small pave crystals), blue (Millennia bracelets, Lucent hoop earrings and ring), pink (bubblegum and magenta pink jewels, Lucent ear cuffs, Orbita stud earring, and Gema necklaces), and yellow (Matrix earrings, Harmonia, Millenia, and Ortyx necklaces).
'Bella sums up the individualistic and transformative attitude of a new global generation. She's a multifaceted character who evades the boxes of rules and conformity. She goes from sporty to glamorous while remaining the same girl with confidence and authority, Today, crystals are a dynamic part of our everyday wardrobe: A way of accentuating your individual style in a way that can be as casual as it can be elaborate. Bella is the poster girl for this state of mind,' Swarovski creative director Giovanna Engelbert said in a statement.
'It really is such a timeless and iconic brand. I was very familiar with Swarovski already. I love the new collections and what the brand has been doing, especially these past two years under the creative vision of Giovanna, and I really see Swarovski as the contemporary jewelry brand of the future. Jewelry is about expression and celebrating individuality - Swarovski celebrates all people and the idea of modern glamour, and I love that,' Bella said on her appointment.
