Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up?

No, I didn't give it a second thought until I was approached by a former model. I never had a dream of wanting to be anything particular growing up, but something in relation to the ocean as I grew up sailing and swimming every day after school.

How were you scouted?

I was approached during a graduate fashion show where I was modeling a friends dress, and a former model who was big in the '90s asked me to join her agency, that didn't work out but a few months later I ended up sending my pictures in to an agency in London, modelsl, who I'm still with now.

What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?

My favorite thing about being a model is being able to travel and have a platform to show others different aspects of your life and what you care about. For instance; the ocean has become my passion and I've been able to do jobs on location and then stay on and maybe do a beach clean or go cage diving to help scientists research sharks.

Biggest lesson that modeling has taught you?

The biggest lesson that modeling has taught me is patience! It takes years for most girls to become successful and you have to have patience and just persevere through, also there's a ton of waiting time on set, you can get to work in the morning and not start until early evening sometimes or you have to wait under hot lights with a headache for hours until they get the right shot but you just have to be patient and trust the process.

How do you stay in shape?

I stay in shape with a mix of different workouts, I've always hated running but now am slowly starting to get into it, with a mix of Pilates and ankle weight exercises and a day or two a week or doing weights, I used to go extremely hard with 2 hit classes a day until I realized my body wasn't responding well to that so I've really toned it down now.

Denim or leather?

I'm swaying towards more denim these days and especially vintage pieces. It's much better for the environment to shop vintage as fast fashion is having such a bad impact on the world at the moment.

Heels or flats?

100% flats, in particular sneakers! I live in my old school reeboks.

If you were an emoji, which would you be and why?

I am the T. rex emoji because my best friend has abnormally long arms which make mine look tiny next to hers so they call me T. Rex...

When you're not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?

On my days off I've been volunteering a lot recently, cleaning up parks and doing beach cleans. It's important to give back to your community and the place we all live. I'm also doing my diving qualification at the moment as I want to go on a trip to plant new coral in reefs in areas where it is dying due to climate change.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time?

10 years' time I'd love to be an aquanaut! I recently went to a save the oceans talk where one of the first female aquanaut's, Sylvia Earle, was speaking, who inspired me to explore the oceans more.
