Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Last week, we profiled Spanish beauty Lucia Lopez and this week we've decided to feature Aleyna FitzGerald.
The 19-year-old has been making a name for herself in fashion pursuing an international modeling career. Hailing from Manly, New South Wales she made her foray into the industry after winning the 10th season of Australia's Next Top Model in 2016 at just 17 years of age. Before that, she had quit school and took up a part-time job as a receptionist at a forklift factory.
Since winning ANTM, she has managed to free herself from cliches of reality TV and made her debut during Saint Laurent's Fall 2017show at Paris Fashion Week. She scored a coveted spot in the line-up for Vaccarello's second season as creative director, walking alongside veterans Mica Arganaraz, Lexi Boling, Binx Walton, Julia Nobis, and Adut Akech.
Aleyna then went on to find favor on the international runway circuit and made her way through Europe's big houses walking for Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Giambattista Valli, and Rodarte, to name a few. She also became the face of Balmain's fall/winter 2017 ad campaign, replacing Kendall Jenner. She has appeared in Forever New's Ever After campaign, Anteprima's S/S 2018 campaign and in editorials for ELLE Australia's December 2016 issue and June 2018 issue respectively.
With her striking looks and statuesque figure, the promising model is sure to strut the runway for Victoria Secret one day.
Check out Aleyna's profile here and check back next week to find out who our next 'Model of the Week' is.
